冬至 mid winter

今日は冬至です。
一年の中で、一番大好きな日です。
今日で長い夜が終わって、これから毎日少しずつ日が長くなると考えると、ワクワクします。
これからが冬本番だけど、冬至を過ぎるだけで、嬉しい。

Today is the mid winter, the day with the longest night of the year.
It is my favorite day of a whole year as it makes me happy and excited to think that the daytime  gets longer and longer every day from today :)
