秋到来 / Summer is now over

　５月の苗上から始まって、夏の間中母に代わってずううっっとお世話をして来た実家の畑が、そろそろ終わりを迎えます。
なす、キュウリ、ピーマン、シシトウ、プチトマト、さやえんどう、ジャガイモ。。。特にお世話もしてないのに、夏中ずっと元気に育ってました。
食べきれないほどの量の野菜が採取できるので、どうやって食べきるかぼやいてた時期も会ったけど。。。今はなすとピーマン、シシトウのみが細々と育ってるだけになっちゃいました。その子達も最近の寒気で成長がほぼ止まってしまった。次の週くらいで収穫も最後かな。
　本当はまた畑を耕して、秋冬の野菜の苗を植えればまた違うお野菜が育つけど、週１しかお世話してあげられないので。。。この夏で一時打ち止めです。
ちょっと寂しいけど、美味しいタイミングで食べてあげられないのもツライ。なので。。。
　来年にはまた母に監督してもらえそうなので、半年後くらいにジャガイモでも植えようかなと思います。

　Now the summer is over, and my vegetables which I was growing at the garden on behalf of my mom since the beginning of the summer are almost finished.
   Eggplant, cucumber, green pepper, tomatoes, peas, potatoes..  I enjoyed many kinds of vegetables through the summer.   Sometimes I had too much of them to eat, but now I only have eggplant and peppers only in the garden.  Even then, due to the cold weather we've been having these days, they have slowed growth...
I guess that the next week will be the last chance to pick vegetables, and I should close the garden.  
  I can cultivate the garden and plant winter vegetables, but I think I should not grow more vegetables this time because I can visit the garden only once a week and I feel bad for not caring and eating at the best timing.  
  I think about planting potatoes maybe next year under my mom's supervision when she comes back.
