イベント案内役の方が選んだ７つの食にまつわる映画の一部を観た後、イベント参加者の投票により観る映画を決めるという趣向。
映画はよく集めたな〜と思うくらい、年代も国も様々な映画をセレクトしてました。
どれも面白そうだなと思ったけど、参加者総勢20人くらいで一番投票数の多かった「タッチ オブ スパイス」というギリシャ映画に決まり、みんなで鑑賞。
（私は別の映画に手を挙げたけど、私ともう一人の2名だけでした。。）
楽しく観る事が出来ました。
そして映画鑑賞と並んでイベントのメインは食事。
今回の食事は満腹芸術法人という名で活動する人たちが担当。
コンセプトは「円」。という事で、食べ物の基本は円の形。
色んな縁で、人々が丸く円につながって行くという思いを込めたそうです。
このイベントを行なったのは、新日本橋にある「Creative Hub 131」という雑居ビル３階にある「社員食堂」という所。Creative Hubは雑居ビルで、建築家やアーティスト、プロダクトデザイン、ベンチャー企業などの人たちの間借りオフィスビルです。ビルの中心にある「社員食堂」では連日のように食事会が開かれ、ビルの関係者だけじゃなく、一般にも開かれていて、常時１０人くらいの人たちが来ています。
私もたまーに行くのだけど、行くたびに知らない顔に出会う、面白い場所です。
この社員食堂を中心に、「フードコミュニケーション」というのを行なっていて、大体の食事を担当しているのが、満腹芸術法人の方達。いつも楽しいコンセプトで食を通したコミュニケーションの場を提供してくれます。
投票による映画鑑賞という趣向。食事の「円」というコンセプト。
自分の趣味と人の趣味が違うんだという事も改めて実感したし。楽しめるイベントでした。
I participated an interesting event called, Film a la Table.
This is an event to watch food-related movie eating dinner together.
We watched previews of 7 movies selected by an event coordinator, and each of us (probably 20 of us) was to select one movie to watch. The movie which won the most votes was to be shown.
7 movies looked all interesting as they came from different countries and years.
I wanted watch something else, but many people voted for the Greece movie, "Touch of Spices" this time. So, we watched this movie together and it was interesting movie at the end.
Food is another main part of this event.
Food was prepared in shape of "circle" representing "Yen" ("bond" in Japanese and pronunciation is the same as "circle" in Japanese.) They wanted to represent the bond and border-less communication among people. All the food looked beautiful and good.
The event was taken place at the cafeteria of "Creative Hub 131".
Creative Hub 131 is composed of offices of architect, designers, farmers, and such.
Cafeteria is open not only for the people work in the building but also to everyone.
They have dinner party almost everyday and it is a good place for meeting and interacting with new people. The main people at the building is trying to experiment "food-communication", which "Eating together makes people's bonds" kind of thing...
So, this event was one of the activities of them as well.
Watching movie, eating food, and meeting new people.. The event was lots of fun.
