Summer Display @ CAFE FUU

作品展示やイベントでいつもお世話になっているCAFE FUUさん（http://www.cafe-fuu.com/）の店内ディスプレイを夏仕様に変えました！
いつもいつも季節が始まってからの模様替え。。今回こそは早く。と思ったけどいつも通り遅くなってしまいました。。

これまでの旅行や日々の中で撮り集めた夏らしい写真だけを集めてみました。
中にはデジカメの無い時代に撮った大昔のキャンプの写真とかもあって、楽しみながら素材選びをしました。
また、旅に出たいな。
お店に来た人が夏を楽しみたいと思ってくれたら嬉しいです。

Just renewed the Shop Display of CAFE FUU where I exhibit my art works time to time.   It is a summer display and I was supposed to change it earlier, but again, I was a bit late to do so...  
I had lots of fun selecting summer pictures from my album.  Some of them were from over 10 years ago when I still used the regular camera with actual film.  
By looking at the pictures, it really made me feel that I wanna go on the trip again..

I hope people enjoy the display and hope they would feel that they wanna enjoy their summer, too :)

必要なのは雨と太陽２／Bucketful of Potatoes!

前回のブログでも書いたとおり、今週末はジャガイモを収穫してみた。
ジャガイモの葉っぱが枯れてしばらくした頃が収穫時期と言われていたので、枯れた葉っぱの下、とりあえずスコップで慎重に掘って見ると、地表からそれほど深くない、５センチ〜１０センチくらいの所にゴロゴロと大きなジャガイモが！
お店で見るような普通のジャガイモがたくさん出て来た。
1部だけ掘るつもりが、どんどん出てくるのが面白くて、結局2列あるうちの1列すべてを掘ってしまった。多分大小取り混ぜて５０個位にはなってたかも。。。
掘り終わった後は汗だくで、しんどかったけど、充実感。

その他なすやシシトウも元気に育ってた。
今週末はまた残りのジャガイモを掘って、他の野菜も収穫する予定。

This weekend, I dug out a lot of potatoes as they were ready to come out. 
It was first time to do it myself, so I was really excited to see how it is growing in the soil.
As I dug, I kept finding just regular potatoes you see in the store more and more. 
I started to have so much fun finding them, so I ended up getting half of what we have in the garden.  I think there were more than 50 potatoes, mix of big and small ones. I got a bucketful of potatoes!!
All the potatoes look healthy and sound :)
I am ready to get more of potatoes and some other veges, like eggplant and peppers this coming weekend.
