この1週間、工房には片付けに行ったり急ぎの用事を済ませたりするのに行くくらい。
展示会や映画などを見てのんびり過ごしました。
It has been one week since the show is finished on last Wed.
I was not doing much for this one week, but going to some shows and movie.
- 5/8日曜日。友人から勧められた「アンネ・ヴァスコ + 福田利之 二人展」http://to-fukuda.com/exhibition_info.htmlを見に吉祥寺へ。アンネ・ヴァスコさんはフィンランドの作家で、絵本のイラストなどを手がけたりしている作家。イラストレーターの福田利之さんとの二人展、カラフルな色使いが本当にすてきでした。
展示会に行く前には久々の友人と天気のよい日差しのもと、軽く昼ビール。ココロの贅沢。
On Sun. May 8th, I went to the exhibition of Anne Vasko and Toshiyuki Fukuda http://to-fukuda.com/exhibition_info.html Vasko is a Finnish illustrator and Fukuda is also well known illustrator in Japan. Their works are covered with full of colors which make you happy and smile. It was really nice show.
Before going to the show, I met up with a friend and had a glass of beer under the sunshine :) This probably helped me feel happier, too :D
- ５/10火曜日。映画「私を離さないで」と影絵作家「藤代清治スタジオ展」の鑑賞。
映画［私を離さないで」。ずっと見たかった映画で、実はあまりに見たくて個展の2、３日前に行こうと画策していたくらい。結局思いとどまったけど。
出来るだけ空いている時間をと思い、午前中開始のを見に行った。
何とも言えず、良い映画です。静かな涙がずっと流れる感じです。細かい事は言いません。良かったら見てください。
午後は影絵作家の藤代清治さんのスタジオ展を見に、大岡山まで。（http://www.seiji-fujishiro.com/）これも人に勧められたのだけど、本当に行ってよかった。危うく良い物を見逃す所だった。
そこかしこに愛情があふれていて、見ているだけで幸せな気分になれました。藤代さんは御歳８７歳。精力的な活動には驚かされるし、何よりも、回りの物に対する愛情の深さが絵に表れていて、ずっと見ていたくなるような感じ。軽く聞こえるかもだけど、おしゃれ。普遍的なセンスの良さ？みたいなのを、、感じた。私が言うのもおこがましいけども。
絵と一緒に展示？されていた動物もかわいかったし。私の一番のお気に入りは、入り口近くに居たカワセミの仲間のカックン。かわいかった。
ながーく活動されている方なので、藤代さんの絵は、ほとんどの人が、きっとどこかで一度は目にしているんじゃないかな。おすすめです。
On Tue. May 10th. In the morning, I went to see a movie "Never let me go". This British movie is based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. I was waiting for long time to see this movie, so I was really happy to make it finally. I liked the movie. No exciting moment but you can feel the quiet but strong emotion/tension throughout the movie. I don't go too far, but it was really beautiful movie. Worth to see in the theater.
In the afternoon, I went to see the exhibition of a well known shadow picture artist, Seiji Fujishiro. （http://www.seiji-fujishiro.com/）
It was one of my best shows I've ever been. He is now 87 years old and has been around about 60years as a shadow picture artist. His works make you happy and smile. By looking at the pictures, you can feel his love toward everything around him. I wish I could stay there looking at his works forever.
He also had animals on display (?) along with the pictures. One of my favorites was a bird welcoming guests at the entrance :)
Again, I am glad I did not miss the chance to see the show. Thanks to the friend who told me about the show.
