大分遅くなってたきたけど、それでも太陽がある限り…育っているみたい。
実はこのピーマン、本来盛りの夏は、良く分からない虫が幹にたかっていたためか、全く実をつけてなくて、完全に諦めていた子です。
先月実家に帰ると、幾つか実をつけていてビックリ。どうやら寒くなって虫が居なくなったからちゃんと育ち始めたみたいで。その生命力にビックリするやら感激するやらで。
そして今週末。すでに寒くてもうシーズンでは無いにもかかわらず…また一つ実が。食べごろのが一つ。そして小さい成長中のが幾つか。
地植えとは違い、育ち方に勢いはないけど、頑張ってる姿になかなか目が離せません。
It's been cold these days as its already in November. Surprisingly, however, the pepper I planted at my moms garden is still producing fruits.
I had given up this pepper tree during the summer as it was beaten by some kind of bugs and could not produce anything. However, I found some peppers a few weeks ago. I don't know what happen, but I guess it started to grow again as all the bugs are gone now due to the cold weather.
And this weekend again, I found one pepper fully grown and a few other small ones.
Well, growing vegetables are full of surprises also with pleasure. I wonder if I can enjoy them again next time I visit after a few weeks.
